Electric
Kansas City Power & Light is the prime source for electricity. The City of Linn Valley has a franchise agreement with KCP&L. The electric service policies and fees vary depending upon the type of service request.
Water
There are several options for water usage, depending on the property location, with water provided by Kansas Rural Water District # 1, or the Linn Valley Lakes Property Owners Association water plant. The Linn Valley Lakes Property Owners Association(POA) provides water delivery service to property owners by tank truck as needed. Also the Property Owners Association provides a coin operated bulk water fill station for the convenience of the property owners that wish to haul their own water. The Linn Valley Lakes POA also has a water line adjacent to some properties in Linn Valley. Check with the POA Office, located just inside the front entrance, for further information.
Sewage
There is no central sewage collection and disposal system within the City. The Property Owners Association provides sewage collection service by tank truck to property owners for a fee. Contact the POA Office for further details.

There is no natural gas service available

Telephone service is provided by Peoples Telecommunications in LaCygne, Kansas.
Internet
Internet services are available by subscription from Peoples Telecommunications, LaCygne, and Midwest Connections in Paola, Kansas.
Television
Direct TV and Dish Network provide television satellite service.
